Coaching a band for Kids Summer Rock Camp is a fun way to spend the summer. The kids learned a lot about cooperation in a band setting, and were very excited to perform for the parents. My class of 5 kids progressed a ton during the week, and were a very tight band by the end. Here’s the video… Enjoy!
After joining the Board of Directors for the Colorado Suzuki Association, I submitted this interview with one of my student’s moms. The interview was published in the summer newsletter, and on the CSA website.
I’m happy to report that my music has reached Number Nine on the ReverbNation charts… for Broomfield, Colorado! Now I wonder what rank I’ll slip to after changing my home city to Ann Arbor, MI. Check it out here: https://www.reverbnation.com/andyschiller
For three years, I coached and played bass for a Danish Cover Band, known as Locoboco. Besides performing rock songs in Danish, the band also played children’s music, world music, rock classics, and originals. https://www.reverbnation.com/locobocoandfriends
I am now taking students in Boulder, Colorado. I’ve been teaching at Robbs Music and the Rocky Mountain Center for Musical Arts since 2003. I now travel to student’s homes.
