I performed in Carnegie Hall at age 19, and went on to become a Faculty Member at Siena Heights University and Adrian College. I then taught for the Colorado Music Festival and the Rocky Mountain Center for Musical Arts. I also spent 12 years teaching at Robb’s Boulder Music.

I am now taking on private guitar students in the Tecumseh area, at 106 S. Maumee street, same building as Insight Counseling. I teach through Facetime, Skype and Zoom aslo. For adult students, I can teach any song or style you’d like to learn. For children, I encourage parents to attend every lesson and take notes. Please Click Here to send me an inquiry.

2021-2022 Lesson Rates:

$25 for 30 minutes

$35 for 45 minutes

$45 for 60 minutes

No “free lessons” or “trial lessons” are given, but I am happy to have an initial meet-and-greet session with you and your child.  You are also welcome to “sit in” on a current student’s lesson, to see how well I work with kids and adults.

Each student must own an instrument – it’s impossible to take lessons or practice without one!!! I would like to have your child hold an instrument, so we can decide together on the correct size. Guitars come in Quarter size, Half size, Three-Quarter size, and full size. Please do not send your 5 year old child to lessons on a full size guitar!!! I have instruments available that are quality and affordable… ask me for more information. Please do not buy a foreign guitar on Amazon.
